Peter's Wish
In 1998, Peter's dream was fulfilled by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Originally, Peter wished to meet God; he, however, soon found out that that wish would be impossible to grant. His mother, however, suggested that he meet the Pope, whom Peter was told was a very good friend of God. This wish was granted and Peter, along with the rest of the family, was blessed by Pope John Paul II in Vatican City, Italy. The Pope even blessed a cross that Peter had, which Peter held, even to the grave.
